Artist’s statement:

I wanted to create hoops for Black Daisies, but a hoop is a hoop – which is a bit boring. I was picturing a punk-looking person, but with a sleek flair – and it gave birth to this. I’m quite happy with the results as anybody can dare to wear these. In a metaphor, the wearer becomes a wild rose, and these hoops become their thorns.

They’re a f*king great pair of hoops, seriously. Wear it with a cute sunny dress, with heavy chunky boots. A corporate outfit? Yes. Messy bun and raggedy clothes, check. Going to a metal show? F*ck yes – just watch the moshpits.
